As Director of the State Education Development Agency of Latvia (1995–2024), she played a pivotal role in shaping Latvia’s VET system, strengthening links between education and labour market needs, and managing large-scale EU-funded education and skills development programmes.
Dita has extensive international experience as a senior expert and advisor in EU-funded projects across Europe and Central Asia, supporting VET policy reforms, institutional capacity building, and skills governance.
